Meet Gayle

My name is Gayle Whittaker and I’ve worked in the fields of journalism, Public Relations and Communications for more than 30 years.

Having spent over a decade employed as a journalist and PR professional, I then worked as a freelance PR consultant specialising in the recycling & waste, renewable energy, agriculture/equestrian and health sectors for 18 years.

I have extensive experience of media relations, reputation management, media training, crisis communications, advising on political lobbying and providing strategic communications advice.

Today I run my own PR consultancy but with a twist. I now specifically work with small and medium sized businesses and sole traders, helping them with PR strategies to raise their profiles and ultimately grow their business.

I also offer PR and media training to small business owners who can’t afford a consultancy, so that they have the confidence to do their own PR.
